I’m here, eating healthy, no cheat – STILL hanging on!
My resolve has not crumbled. My eye is on the prize: to gain back control of my life. The crack that has left me broken for so many months is now only a scar, healing slowly; the dried-up tears, remnants of my struggles over the past few months; and the few added pounds, a reminder that we all fall once a while, only because we are human, but we still need to keep on going.
I ate a low-calorie WW English muffin with slice of fat-free Mozzarella cheese, 2 thin slices of fat-free low-sodium ham this morning and a piece of low-calorie banana bread. As a snack, I ate my apple and drank a 25 oz. bottle of water.
For lunch I ate a small sandwich on WW bread with lettuce, a few slices of onions to give it a pang! and some grilled chicken. I just ate a small orange and I’m about to drink another 25 oz. bottle of water. I feel great.
It’ll be hard at home tonight though!!!
I plan on making a chicken stir-fry with some carrots, snow peas, onions, celery, etc. and adding some Hoisin sauce. I need to check my portions though! I need to remember: 1 cup of each. I’ll be keeping the measuring cup close tonight.
Now I need to find the courage to exercise!
